The developers originally envisioned making a cop-themed light gun game, but since that niche was already filled by Sega's own Virtual Cop, they focused on zombies and monsters instead. That being said, most players will be able to knock out the entire campaign in about 40 minutes. There are only five chapters, eight, if you count the three chapters which can be played in reverse.
